Honey-Sweetened Cranberry Sauce

December 24, 2017

Cranberries are one of the only berries that ripen in winter. They're tart, yes, but when you cook them and add a little honey, they become deliciously sweet. Cranberry sauce is a holiday classic, and so easy to make, even without refined sugar. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

- 1 lb cranberries

- 1/2 cup raw, unfiltered honey

- 1 cup fresh-squeezed orange juice

Directions:

1. Pour the orange juice into a medium-sized sauce pot on medium heat

2. Add the honey; stir until it dissolves in the juice

3. Add the cranberries and stir

4. Let simmer until the cranberries pop

5. Cool and serve; it tastes best chilled
