Candied Pecans

These candied pecans are a delicious holiday treat, perfect for Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Years, and beyond! They're great on their own or as a topping; try them on sweet potatoes, squash, brussels sprouts, salads, smoothie bowls--almost anything! They're sweet and a little salty, and, honestly, they're pretty addicting! Which is fine, considering they're made of whole foods and they're sweetened naturally. Enjoy!

 

Ingredients:

 

- 2 cups raw pecans

- 1 tbsp olive oil, avocado oil, or melted coconut oil

- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup

- 1/2 tsp sea salt

- Pinch of coconut sugar 

 

 

Directions:

 

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a baking tray with parchment paper

2. Mix all the ingredients (except the coconut sugar) together in a large bowl

3. Spread the pecans on the tray and sprinkle them with the coconut sugar 

4. Bake for 15 minutes

5. Let cool and serve
